About GoodYum

GoodYum was initially concieved as a restaurant location and listing site where users would be able to find a place to eat on a whim. The idea was that we were hungry, but didn't know what for, nor had the means to quickly determine available options.

We quickly realized that the potential of what GoodYum could be was much greater in magnitude than a simple tool to help us find a place to eat for lunch. GoodYum could be a much larger social environment for people to interact with and benefit from restaurant participation within the network.

The site you are now at is the result of a year of brainstorming and the starting point for our great plans. There are many reasons we think you will enjoy using GoodYum, and our open beta should give you a taste of what is to come.

It is our principle position to supply a nurturing environment in support of all those who eat and those that serve us food. In this, it is the love of cuisine, the love of community, and the love of coming together to eat a good meal that binds us all together. Welcome to GoodYum.com!
